About the founder of House of Burlesque.
Minsky Malone, is a Melbourne, Australia based creative director for stage, and an international Burlesque Performer. For the last 20 years (starting 1987) she has been performing around the world, first starting with her troupe in the seaside tourist town of Blackpool in northern England. During this time she featured on British TV, on such shows as Ali G, and Men and Motors. During the following tours in Milan and Ibiza (1997-2000), Minsky Malone developed a unique form of Burlesque and Vaudeville influenced by earlier performers such as Josephine Baker and Mae West.

In 2004 Minsky Malone started her own Burlesque dance performance school, in which graduates formed Australia's only Fan Dancing Troupe and performed in her various events. In 2008 Minsky wrote, directed, and produced a successful Burlesque-Vaudeville play 'Pandora's Dolls' as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival. In January 2009 her Minsky's Circus Burlesque Event was selected as one of the top New Year's Eve Event in Melbourne by the Melbourne Age. In September 2009 Minsky performed co-wrote, directed and produced a surreal Dali show for the National Gallery of Victoria. In 2010 she judged Miss Burlesque New Zealand where she also instructed classes. Recently she judged Miss Burlesque Australia and coming up in December 2011 is the stage show History of Burlesque
