With the Burlesque Showgirl Fan Dancing Course you will learn in an elegant and stylish manner the art of Showgirl Fan Dancing. The classes combine postures and moves from ballet and cabaret with the sensuality of Showgirl Burlesque to create a classy routine that will turn heads no matter what age or size you are. This 6 week course suits beginners and intermediate levels who want learn a new routine.

By the end of the six week course you will be able to perform a choreographed show, which can also be performed as a solo routine, whether in private or on the stage. How risque you make the Burlesque Showgirl Fan Dance Routine is up to you. Each course has a new choreographed routine, which is why many students return to do the course more than once. House of Burlesque offer students who are interested Showgirl Fans at discounted student rates. This is just an option as Showgirl Fans are available for use in classes.

To attend any of the courses all you need to do is bring yourself wearing comfortable clothes, everything else is supplied. When performing in Burlesque genre shows it is usually in heels,therefore it is a good idea to practice in heals though not essential. Note enclosed heals are much easier to perform in than strap heels. You will receive a CD (or made available via download)of the music used for your choreographed show, which on the last night you can invite your friends to see at the House of Burlesque Studio, which is a fun and free night.

The next Burlesque Showgirl Fan Dance six week courses start on Wednesday 25th of August 2010. Each class is limited to 12 participants, to ensure you learn. The studio opens 1 hour before the class begins with cups of tea provided. At House of Burlesque when you book for a six week course you are entitled to six classes - sometimes 7 when the final performance night with rehearsals is added on at no cost. If rescheduling or requesting refunds please send and email to info@houseofburlesque.com You will receive the CD of music you perform to (or it will be made available by download). All you need to do is bring yourself as everything else is provided. The full cost with no hidden fees is $150 (or $25 per hour) for the six week course.
