House of Burlesque located in the heart of the vibrant Brunswick Street Fitzroy offers you a Hens Night, Birthday Party or Girls Night Out where everyone joins in the fun participating, performing and partying. You have exclusive use of the Burlesque studio for two hours, during this time everyone participates in the fun Burlesque Class, which is suitable for all ages.
The Art of Tease Burlesque class is specifically designed for the party and is segmented to keep the party mood flowing. All this happens in a large studio with an adjoining lounge area both having a Burlesque setting.
Minsky Malone is your ideal host and instructor; having twenty years experience as an international Burlesque performer and director. Her show titles include: Ms Australia's Business Mans Choice, Melbourne's Queen of Seduction and Australia's Hottest Show. While in the UK she appeared in many TV shows including the Ali G Show and performed live for Robbie Williams. She has directed many of her own Burlesque shows including the sell out Pandora's Dolls among a few others. Recently Minsky judged Miss Burlesque Australia and New Zealand where she also instructed.

The Bride to Be or Birthday celebrant receives free entry/participation - for bookings of 12 participants or more. For bookings of less than 12 people contact House of Burlesque (see bottom of page)
With 18 and more participants the organizer also receives free entry/participation.
To make it easy for you everyone just pays at the party.
You have exclusive use of the studio for two hours, during this time everyone participates in the fun Burlesque Class, which is suitable for all ages. The Burlesque class is specifically designed for the party and beginners, which is segmented to keep the party mood flowing.
Games such as the lovely legs competition and hula hoop comps are free on top of the class, you also have the flexibility of incorporating your own activities and games.
The Bride to Be or Birthday celebrant receives a free gift of Burlesque stockings (RRP $50).
Day packages with professional photo shoots, hair, make up and styling with all the above start at $350 per person. The photographer, makeup artist, hair and fashion stylist require a minimum of 5 participants. The photo sessions are separate to the 2 hour party packages.
The most popular package is the $40 per participant. With this package you save by bringing your own beverages (alcohol included) and nibbles with no corkage fees. There is a refrigerator for the drinks and platters for nibbles. There’s also complimentary iced tea on arrival. If you are having dinner and drinks elsewhere the BYO option works out well for you.

A frequently asked questions is what to wear? Most hen's and birthday parties dress as they would going out, a few dress to the theme as per the above photo. The Showgirl Fans, Boa's along with the studio all set the mood even when not dressing up.
The below holding deposit booking facility can be used if you have already confirmed availability of the date and time. With bookings filling up it is important you select your date and time due to the high volume. Should you change the date and time, we will try to accommodate, subject to availability. The $100 holding deposit secures your booking and is deducted from the final balance, which is made easy by attendees/participants paying at the party .
